Chili Cookoff 2009 |
The United Way's 8th Annual Chili Cookoff was, once again, held at Divi Carina Bay Hotel and Casino's beach. All types of chili were entered; chili with beans, chili without beans, vegetarian chili and chili of dubious heritage, all accompanied by lots of beer. This event assists the United Way to operate throughout the year here in the islands. The winner goes on to the big Chili Contest in Terlingua, Texas. Now that's a nice prize! We didn't arrive early enough to see all the entries in action, so what you will see is a partial showing of the event which had over twenty entries. |
