Jymmy Dunn is a familiar artist to most people on the island. Jymmy is the sculptor of the roadside mahogany faces that we see everyday. The trees are old mahogany that have been topped but left to stand where they once grew. Jymmy uses these tree stumps, some 6 feet tall, to create African mask sculptures. Each stump spoke to him, in its own way, and the faces emerged. Look out your car windows once in a while and see fantastic street art at its best. |
